Revisiting Starting Point

Revisiting Starting Point

I want to go to Ethiopia!

It’s been more than 10 years since we met specialty coffee and started an around 30-square-meter, small shop so that many people could drink such delicious coffees.

We’ve opened 10 shops in the past 10 years. Compared with when we just started, many more locals are enjoying delicious, high-quality coffees at home.

But the reality is, a vast majority of people still don’t know what specialty coffee is.

I want to revisit my starting point Ethiopia, also known to be the origins of Arabica coffee, and look ahead to the next 10 years.

At the same time, I want to see first hand who are producing the incredibly delicious Ethiopian coffees on what soil through what processes, and convey the experience directly to my customers.

“Thinking about the future of the coffee business in a place where it all started.”

I’ll head into this wonderful, precious opportunity under this theme.
